About Us

We as a husband and wife team, Alma Cobos-Ayala and John Ayala, head the Law Offices of Cobos & Ayala, and together with associate attorney, Marisela Cobos Soto, represent clients in state and federal court proceedings throughout California.  As first generation citizens of the United States we have a unique understanding of the issues confronting clients involved in immigration cases, as well as the need for timely, sensitive legal advice and representation. We therefore strive to be approachable, responsive, efficient, and effective at every opportunity.  We are fluent in both English and Spanish, maintain flexible office hours, respond promptly to telephone calls, and stay on top of changes in the law.  We are active members of the American Bar Association, California Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Mexican American Bar Association, and American Immigration Lawyers Association.
